This confined space course is designed for people who have previously completed a full 3 day ``Standby Person`` course. Standby person duties involves observation, continuous communication, gas monitoring of the confined space if required initiate the first aid / rescue plan. The refresher course covers those competencies attained previously thereby ensuring the participants previously gained competencies remain current.
This course is recognised by Billion & BlueScope.

- Risk management
- Safety equipment and rescue
- Working in accordance with confined space permits /documentation and procedures.
- Atmospheric evaluation

- Self containing breathing apparatus
Assessment: End of course written and practical assessments.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive `Statement of Attainment `re-validating previously attained competency units as per 3 day course.
