FIRE WARDEN AND EMERGENCY TRAINING

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to respond to workplace emergencies and evacuation.

COURSE CONTENT

  • 1 hour on fire pan (if approved).
  • Radio Comms.
  • Reporting incidents to emergency services.
  • Introduction to site inspection and audit of procedures.
  • Terrorism, public disorder and riot.
  • Hold-up and robbery.
  • Fires.
  • Building collapse.
  • Evacuation procedures.
  • Reporting process (site specific).
  • Flood, deluge & storm.
  • Crowd control.
  • Incident control.
  • Assembly points.

PRE-REQUISITE

  • Site inspection.
  • Evacuation and fire plans access.
  • Training room – OHS assessment.
  • Fire pan training area assessment.
  • Access to water, dry chemical and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers for.
  • Training purposes (min. 1of each per 2 trainees – additional cost).

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a statement of attainment for:

  • Identify, prevent and report potential workplace emergency situations (PUAWER001B).
  • Respond to workplace emergencies (PUAWER004B).
